This application is intended for individuals affiliated with the Special Social Security Regime for Maritime Workers and is designed to simplify all procedures and management tasks with the Instituto Social de la Marina through the application itself.

The Instituto Social de la Marina operates as one of the managing entities within the Spanish Social Security system, falling under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of State for Social Security and Pensions. It is governed by specific regulations, primarily by Law 47/2015, dated October 21, which regulates social protection for workers in the maritime and fishing sectors.

The application offers a range of functionalities:

• Maritime Health Services: Users can download various medical reports and certificates, including the Medical Certificate of Fitness for Embarkation, medical reports, spirometries, and lab analyses. Additionally, it provides access to a service for locating hospital ships.
• Social Security Services: Users can utilize the "JUBIMAR" retirement simulator and download reports and certificates such as work history, current employment status, COE, and contribution data.
• Maritime and Health Training: The application allows users to submit training requests and obtain information on managing their specific health training certification.
• Additional Services: Users can request their European Health Insurance Card, both for themselves and their beneficiaries. They can also schedule appointments for medical recognition related to maritime embarkation or other necessary paperwork at our offices while utilizing office location services.

Furthermore, users can:

• Submit applications and documents through Electronic Registration.
• Use the inquiry mailbox to pose questions regarding their management with the Instituto Social de la Marina.
• Access notifications related to the expiration of the Medical Certificate of Fitness for Embarkation, updates on COE, reminders for new health assessments, or new responses in the Inquiry Mailbox.
• Retrieve previously downloaded certificates or reports via the services menu for offline access at any time and place.

Accessing the application requires identification via Cl@ve permanente, which permits full access to all functionalities. Alternatively, users can log in via SMS if their mobile number is registered with Social Security. If not previously registered with Cl@ve permanente, registration can be completed using an electronic ID or digital certificate or in person at a Cl@ve registration office, including those from Social Security.
